Selection and packing
We sort and pack avocados under strict food safety and quality standards. We have 2 sorting machines that process up to 50,000 pounds per hour each, ensuring precise classification based on avocado size and ripeness. Additionally, we have 8 bagging machines with an average capacity of 20 loads per week of bagged avocados, available in all sizes (from 40′ to 84′).
Export and logistics
We pre-cool the fruit to 55°F (13°C) after harvest and before packing. Then, using 8 forced-air pre-cooling tunnels, we bring the temperature down to 40°F (4°C) post-packing. Each tunnel holds up to 22 pallets, and our facilities include 3 independent shipping chambers with a combined capacity of 1.5 million pounds (680 metric tons) and room for 700 pallets.
Additionally, our packing plant employs 150 people, ensuring efficiency at every stage of the process.
From our packing plant, we manage exports to key markets in the United States, Latin America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
